OUR ORIGIN
I’m Bohdan, this is the story why I perfected a client’s vision, closed my upholstery shop, and founded Specialty Seats Ltd. It started when a client asked customize their Datsun pickup seat. The goal was simple; build a timeless bench seat with modern ergonomics. A seat that looked and felt right in a pro-touring truck.
Reupholstering the dated, rusty and uncomfortable factory seat was out of the question. I designed a new bench seat from the ground up. A low-profile frame with modern suspension, a supportive foam contour, finished in the client’s choice of custom upholstery. The seat was timeless and comfortable. The project was a success.
In 2023 I toured local car shows with three prototypes and began building new seats. Specialty Seats Ltd was born (Formerly Harrison Auto-Trim).
Today our seats are made with cutting-edge computerized manufacturing techniques. You can easily upgrade any Ford or GM pickup with improved comfort and custom upholstery. At a price low enough to rival reupholstering your OEM seat. Specialty Seats are made in Ontario Canada, and enjoyed across North-America.
